Budget Marine in the Caribbean is pleased to announce the expansion of its house brand “Carib Marine”. The Carib Marine range of products started with a line of personal flotation devices and soon branched out into the dinghy market. The Carib Marine branded dinghies entered the market in July of 2017 with two fiberglass, single floor models targeted to the cost-conscious boater. Since then the brand has expanded to include a large range of fiberglass models with sizing ranging from 8′ (2.5m) up to 19’ (5.8m). With the success of the fiberglass models the Carib Marine brand is now expanding to include aluminum RIBs.
Budget Marine is the largest chandlery chain in the Caribbean and enjoys a deep understanding of the challenges that come with operating in one of the most popular yachting regions globally. Whilst the yachting is outstanding, the tropical challenges to equipment remain. Budget Marine’s long experience is proving effective in choosing dinghies that fit the regions requirements. These are amongst others providing quality products that withstand the Caribbean tough conditions, carrying a large assortment of different size dinghies that is directly available, with competitors having a lead-time of up to 6 months for the more unusual sizes, and the versatility to customize the dinghies at the Budget Marine St.Maarten location by adding consoles and seating to the specification of the customer. This combined with the reasonable cost has made the Carib Marine line of dinghies a popular one. The aluminum hull dinghies will be available in July 2019 and will range in sizes from 8’ (2.5m) to 13.8’ (4.2m).
