The 21st St. Croix International Regatta was held last weekend -15th- 17th November, and it was a great weekend of sailing and festivities.
The regatta, famous for the winning Captain being awarded his weight in Rum, proved to be a test for the versatility of the entrants. The weather was a mixed bag of rain and 15 knot winds on Friday, light to no winds on Saturday and gusty 25 knot winds on Sunday.
The sailing action was followed by great afternoons and evenings of great food and entertainment. Budget Marine – St. Croix, sponsored Fridays ‘Commodores Race’, which for most of the boats was used as a tune up for the rest of the weekend. We made many new friends and were able to introduce a lot of people to some of our great products.
A good time was had by all.
