Budget Marine Antigua is continuously developing, not only in square footage but also in its services it delivers to its customers. The recent expansion in English Harbour can attest to that. “Our business in Budget Marine English Harbour keeps growing so we keep adding space whenever this becomes available. In December 2018 we had a new opportunity to gain 250sq ft of space and we have slowly been transforming this space to fit our needs, despite being in high season.” says Louisa Norris General Manager of Budget Marine Antigua.
“Today we have just under 2000sq ft of space, which made it possible to improve our merchandising in-store, to create a few “wow” sections and to expand in more ranges and stock.” Next to the expansion of products Budget Marine has also added a Special Order office. “There is a high demand of specialized items in this location, especially during high season. The adding of this office will accommodate customer’s requests for easy special ordering of these items. Overall it’s a better shopping experience for our customers.” continued Louisa Norris.
Budget Marine Antigua has appointment Mr. Shakeil Norris to the newly created position of manager English Harbour. Over the years he has developed a sound knowledge base of marine products and supports this with a strong IT knowledge and understanding of the marine equipment distribution market. His appointment further strengthens the developments in English Harbour. Robbie Ferron, Founder of Budget Marine, fully supports this new appointment: “Shakeil started to work with the company from the age of 16 during school breaks. He switched to full time and became a permanent employee from June 1, 2013 on completing his Associate degree. Three years, later in 2016, Shakeil graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration, with honors from Monroe College in the US. He has extensive experience and expertise in both products and clearance of incoming goods. In his new position, Shakeil will drive an improvement in the non stock/yacht in transit service especially with the major marine manufacturers that Budget Marine represents. We wish Shakeil all the best in his new role.”
