Budget Marine represented at the Grenada Charter Yacht Show

Movers and shakers in the marine industry in Grenada geared up once again for the Grenada Charter Yacht

Show, now in its 3rd year, held once again on the Superdocks at Camper& Nicholsons Port Louis Marina.

The show promotes Grenada as a charter base and destination and attending charter company representatives are taken to visit various marine services, boatyards and marinas. The main marinas and boatyards are concentrated in the south western corner of the island and Budget Marine’s location is right in where the marina’s are. Below a little map of the marinas and Budget marine’s location in relation to these.

Sunday 22nd July marked the commencement of the show at the pool side of the Port Louis Marina. It was an evening where you got to meet and greet people from the charter business and marine companies, an opportunity for Budget Marine to introduce and showcase what they offer. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Mrs. Arlene Outram attended, along with Mrs. Nikoyan Roberts, the Nautical Development Officer at the Grenada Tourism Authority, explained that there has been a continuous growth in our yachting industry bringing substantial revenue to our shores.

Lera Griffith of BM Grenada comments: ‘The continuous expression of how warm and friendly as a people we are at Budget Marine was one of the main reasons why Grenada has had so many repeat customers over the years who have encouraged others to come and experience the island for themselves.”

As part of the show participants also got a tour of the Budget Marine store.
