It is with great pleasure that Budget Marine Trinidad’s Manager, Risa Hall Lequay, announced the opening of a new Budget Marine outlet located at the Trinidad & Tobago Yacht Club (TTYC) on Western Main Road, Bayshore, gathering place for many of T&T’s top sport fishermen and leisure boaters.
The store opened its doors unofficially on 11 April 2016 and on Friday 28 April officially with staff and customers gathering to celebrate the opening of the store. Budget Marine product hampers worth TT$1000 each were handed out to 4 lucky winners, seen below with Sophie Salina.
This project was initiated over a year ago, but could only be implemented once an upper storey was constructed above the existing fishing tackle shop in the TTYC compound. The main focus of this satellite store is to provide convenient access to boat maintenance products geared to the needs of powerboat owners, with quick delivery of any additional items required from the main Chaguaramas store.
Having Budget Marine on site to cater to their needs will be a big advantage for Club members, especially now that the only road into Chaguaramas is experiencing traffic congestion. The stock selection has taken into account the many contractors who work on the boats moored on the TTYC docks, as well as the upmarket leisure boaters who own the fleet of impressive craft located at this club.
Mark John, who has been with Budget Marine Trinidad for 11 years, is is in charge of providing a special service at this location, with back up from the rest of the Budget Marine Trinidad Team.
