Roeland van Bijnen, manager of Budget Marine Curacao reports:
“Over the last few weeks we have been working hard to change the layout of the back of Caracasbaaiweg sales floor. We have so many products in the store and it’s not always easy to find the right way to display them in the right way without the store looking to full.
The floor was the first to be tackled and what better than to use our own products! After removing all loose old paint we re-coated with 2 layers of Sea Hawk Tuff Stuff Primer. Even the cleaning lady was involved and gave us the advice to treat the floor the same as we did in our warehouse because it was so easy to clean. That meant that the last 2 layers were done with West System epoxy.
For more easy access we repositioned the rack with the rolls of fiber cloth, placed the other racks differently to allow more natural light to reach the back of the store and constructed 3 new free standing floor displays .
We created a much more ‘open’ floor plan, more display possibilities and merchandising has been very improved. It gave staff a huge impulse as well, because it is just great fun to do something with such a big impact.”
We invite everybody to pass by and enjoy the new and improved shopping experience!
