Salt Bobbin
Salt Bobbin is designed to disintegrate when exposed to water. This allows the firing mechanism to puncture the CO2 cylinder and fill the inflatable chamber. We recommend annual maintenance and inspection of your PFD. For recreational use, bobbins should be replaced every three years to avoid inadvertent inflation or more frequently in extreme conditions, i.e. high temperature and high humidity.
