Simply the best instrument for investigating boat electrical systems. Measures current in a cable without breaking the circuit. Simply open the jaws and close them around a cable to measure DC current in two ranges 0-40A and 0-400 amps. Easily measure alternator output, solar panels output, fridge/freezer draw etc.
Also measures AC current to 400A, AC and DC voltage to 600V. Resistance to 4,000 ohm and has a continuity beeper. 4199 display count for high accuracy. Automatic battery saver sleep mode. Complete with test leads. Uses 2 AAA batteries (supplied).
