Product Information
A two-component, 100% solids epoxy resin system designed for laminating glass, carbon, or Kevlar fibers in composite plastic production.
Key Features:
- Mix Ratio: 2:1 by volume (2 parts resin : 1 part activator)
- Application: Forgiving system with easy wet-out, moderate pot life, and strong adhesion to wood, glass, metals, fiberglass composites, and plastics
- Finish: Hard, light-colored plastic with excellent water, chemical, and solvent resistance
- Blushing: May occur in thin films or high humidity
- Cure Time: Fast—generally under 24 hours; can be accelerated with mild heat up to 180°F
- Recoating: Should be done before full cure for good bonding; otherwise, light sanding and solvent wash may be needed
