Line and Anchor Rode Line require stretch for shock absorption to accommodate
jerking and sudden loading on a dock or at anchor. Twisted Nylon Dock Line
with its good elongation is the traditional choice. Other options are
eco-conscious rPET (recycled polyester yarn) Dock Line, and Polyester Dock
Line with shock absorbing opti-twist core, combined with a Snubber.
