This core material with unique properties, combines the strength and resilience of Honeycomb sheet design, and is a great sound damping material with excellent structure-born sound damping properties. It also combines lightweight & stiffness with tough polypropylene bonding properties due to the thermo fused scrim. The combination allows the honeycomb sheets to absorb and dissipate impacts & shocks repeatedly. The honeycomb cell walls are fused into the non-woven polyester scrim. That, coupled with the scrim’s affinity for virtually any resin or adhesive system, provides exceptional bond and peel strength.
