With unique edge-gripping riblets to hold it in place, Sta-Plug® Soft Cone is made of a proprietary foam formulation that is solid, spongy and coated with a flexible sealer. Capable of sealing round, oval or irregular holes in boat hulls, it is compressed by hand and inserted into the hole to stop, or reduce, the inward flow of water as the foam returns to its original shape. Sta-Plug® can be cut with a razor, knife, or torn by hand and forced into elongated openings using a putty knife or similar tool.
