SmartPilot X-5 Wheelpilot

SmartPilot X-Series brings you advanced steering technology. The X-5 wheelpilot is equipped with a built in rate gyro sensor which enables SmartPilot AST™ software to intelligently monitor vessel yaw and actually anticipate course changes.
X-5 produces razor sharp course keeping without overshoot or instability. Extremely valuable in difficult steering situations, such as downwind with a following sea.
Smart Rudder Sense™ technology enables precise steering without the use of a rudder feedback sensor.
The rugged wheel mounted drive unit engages or disengages at the flick of a lever. It has the torque to steer boats up to 16,500 lbs (7,500 kg), whilst using a minimum of power.
Easily installed, the X-5 Wheelpilot comes with X-5 course computer, cockpit wheeldrive, remote fluxgate compass and ST6002 control head. The ST6002 can also be used as a repeater for other SeaTalk instruments.
