Budget Marine is pleased to sponsor Karl James in the 2017 Caribbean Laser Championships taking place this week end in Orient Bay , Saint Martin. Karl James is a dinghy sailor, Superyacht sailor and youth coach. Very few Caribbean sailors can cover all these different parts of sailing.
Karl has done these championships about 12 times and has won it five times. He supported the event strongly by bringing equipment from Antigua and thereby helping make it successful. He is currently playing significant roles on superyachts like Sojana and P2 and if it had not been for a cancellation, he would have been doing the Palma Superyacht Regatta and not been able to compete in these championships.
Most important however is his youth coaching and his ability to motivate, challenge and drive youth to high results in sailing. This is also the most important reason for Budget Marine being enthusiastic about sponsoring Karl. Through his efforts many young lives have been positively affected with success and satisfaction in sporting and career areas.
